In response to the challenges encountered during online semesters, our club embarked on a project aimed at facilitating efficient communication and progress tracking among members, particularly in conducting scrum activities remotely. To address this, we conceptualized and developed a Discord Bot tailored to our club’s needs.

The Discord Bot serves as a dynamic tool that enables seamless interaction among members dispersed across various locations. Functioning within the Discord platform, the Bot operates by capturing and analyzing textual inputs provided by members regarding their ongoing activities and accomplishments. Employing advanced parsing algorithms, the Bot discerns and extracts pertinent technical details embedded within the messages.

Upon extraction, the technical data is meticulously organized and made accessible through a dedicated interface known as the “Kitchen.” This web application serves as a centralized hub where members can conveniently monitor and review the progress and contributions of their peers. Within the Kitchen, members gain insights into the diverse array of technical tasks and achievements undertaken by fellow club members, fostering transparency, collaboration, and knowledge sharing within the community.
